Kawasaki Ninja description

2013 Ninja 300 lic'd/reg'd in CA. Mileage is 5233, oil changed at 600 then every 1000. Original owner always garaged. Never down on pavement, better half did "lovingly" set it on the right side in lawn after I washed it. Minor paint damage on right fairing and brake lever see in pics. Includes Kawasaki touring windshield, spools and center stand.

I rec'd a recall notice re a low RPM motor cut out issue that is addressed by replacing the cluster. The bike did indeed suffer from this when compression braking descending grades. My local dealer has my new cluster and is to perform the recall work. The recall service is scheduled to be performed by dealer week of 10/21/13.

Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.
