Fri, 02 May 2014Kawasaki Motors Corp., USA and New Jersey Motorsports Park have announced a new partnership that will see the manufacturer become the title sponsor for AMA Pro Road Racing’s visit to New Jersey Motorsports Park this fall. The weekend of September 13-14, 2014 will be branded as the Kawasaki Devil’s Showdown, and will feature AMA Pro SuperBike, AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike, AMA Pro SuperSport and AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series classes. Kawasaki Re-Signs Multi-Year Contracts with Villopoto and Weimer
Fri, 07 Sep 2012Ryan Villopoto and Jake Weimer have signed multi-year contract extensions with Kawasaki, ensuring the two riders will continue competing for Team Green in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross championships through 2013 and beyond. Villopoto and Kawasaki have been a winning combination both indoors and outdoors. Villopoto won three 250 motocross titles and a Supercross Lites West Region title with Kawasaki before moving up to the 450 class in 2009, winning two Supercross races in his rookie year.

Mon, 06 Jan 2014KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
