Kawasaki Ninja description
I am selling my Kawasaki ninja 300 abs. I don't particularly want to sell it, but I am having right knee surgery that will stop me for driving it for at least a year. I would rather sell it than let this awesome bike sit that long. I've owned it for a year (and was planning on keeping it much longer). In my possession, it is garage kept and any maintenance required was done. This includes new tires fall of last year, oil changes, and new front brakes. As said in the condition, I recommend a new chain next year. It is not dangerous to ride as is now, but it is due. I chose to wait so the buyer could change the sprocket ratio if they wanted.
It currently has right around 13000 miles on it. I've averaged 40-50 mpg. As of options, it has a yoshimura slip on exhaust, abs, special edition green body panels, and an eliminator rear light. I'll say that exhaust sounds great! Message with any reasonable offers and I may lower the buy it now. Please ask any questions you wish. Deposit is due within 48 hours and final payment in 5 days unless arranged differently with me. I fully welcome a (buyer paid) inspection from any local shop before you pick it up or ship it. This is an as is as shown purchase. I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time if a local buyer purchases it. I can show it to locals within 30 miles of Des Moines, otherwise it will have to be shipped by the buyer. |

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?
Mon, 28 Feb 2011As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment. I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.
2024 Kawasaki KLX300/KLX300SM Review – First Ride
Mon, 18 Dec 2023A winning formula gets even more… winning-er Photos: Kevin Wing Kawasaki’s media guy Brad Puetz (pronounced like the actor, though this Brad is not nearly as good looking or famous) said something that stuck with me. “Between the Versys 650 and this, these are the two bikes journalists tend to buy most from us.” As a previous Versys 650 owner – purchased from MO’s former Editorial Director Sean Alexander, and then passed down after me to another former MO staffer Tom Roderick, we can certainly attest to the first part. 2024 Kawasaki KLX300/KLX300SM Kawasaki has an unexpected success with the KLX300 and KLX300SM, so instead of massive changes for what's essentially an entry-level motorcycle, Kawasaki decided to make it look better.
ZX-10R. Worth the weight?
Thu, 18 Nov 2010The whisper on pit lane is that 2011 will be a good year for the green K. Our moles within the racing circles tell us that apart from more power and less weight (always handy), the new ZX-10R's main advantage is not these two factors but rather its improved weight distribution, weight transference qualities and grip levels. Studying Tom Syke's lap time data from Kawasaki's public test sessions it seems it's much easier for him to maintain consistent fast lap times back-to-back over the whole range of tyre degradation and fuel load changes.
