After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. 2014 AMA Supercross – San Diego Results
Mon, 10 Feb 2014James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win of the season, leading all 20 laps before a crowd of 56,828 fans at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider becomes the fourth different winner of the season in the 450 class through six rounds. The news was less positive for last week’s winner Chad Reed.
Kawasaki Reports Q4 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 01 May 2012Kawasaki reported a slight increase in sales while reducing the operating loss from its motorcycle and engine division during its fiscal year ended March 31, 2011. According to its year-end report, Kawasaki‘s motorcycle and engine business generated 235.2 billion yen (US$2.9 billion) in sales, a slight increase from the 234.4 million yen reported the year before. Kawasaki still suffered a loss from the division, though the loss of 2.959 million yen was still an improvement from the operating loss of 5.0 million yen reported the year prior.
