FOR SALE: 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 250r Special Edition. This was my wife s bike. Shortly after she bought it, we found out that we were expecting a baby, so she never had the change to ride it much. I have taken it out quite a few times here and there to keep it from sitting. It has 1,600mis on it. It also has a Yoshi exhaust and a fender eliminator kit on it, as well. It also has a tank protector and pink rim tape on the tires, which can both easily be removed. This bike is in VERY excellent condition! We are asking $3,700 FIRM and NO TRADES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Thu, 26 Apr 2012A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.

And this genre is now gaining a foothold in the motorcycle world. In the video below, we see these worlds collide as a Corvette-powered Mazda RX-7 battles a stretched Kawasaki ZX-10R in a drift competition produced by Icon Motorsports. The Ninja is ridden by Nick “Apex” Brocha, smoking his ZX’s fat rear tire against the RX at Sandia Motorsports Park in New Mexico.

The CBR won that confrontation, but a lot’s changed since then. For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.
