Im selling my 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 600cc motorcycle. The motorcycle is flat black with maroon wheels, has a 2 brothers slip-on exhaust and an aftermarket integrated taillight. I pre-owned this bike as a daily commuter, and I'm selling it because I no longer ride. The motorcycle has brand new front and rear tires both are Michelin Power 2CT, ridden approximately. 50 mis on the tires, you can see for yourself in the picture. The photos taken are from today's date. I have the original exhaust along with all pipes that came with it if you are interested in also getting that. The price is $5300, but I will reasonably negotiate. Considering the tires alone cost 300+ to mount balance along with the tire price, I think price is really reasonable. KBB says 5500 bucks for my bike so dont low ball especially since my year bike is suppose to have approximately 13+k miles I only have 10800, although bike has slight tears in the seat and couple of scratches around body, nothing extreme, no dents or knicks. Update: Bike Stolen On ‘Round The World Adventure Recovered!
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Martin Williams, the man who had his motorcycle stolen halfway through his trip around the world, has been reunited with his Kawasaki. A man walking his dog one morning spotted the bike and reported it to authorities. Williams was obviously elated to get his bike back, but the thieves unfortunately had their way with it before it was recovered.
AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results
Mon, 13 Feb 2012Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.
Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
