Kawasaki Ninja description

I am selling my 2008 ZX-10R. I recently had an accident and low-sided the bike at 30 mph. There are minimal scuffs on the fairings and a hairline crack in the frame. I am now too afraid to ride the bike so I decided to sell it. Still runs STRONG. Bike has 24K miles. Engine was professionally rebuilt with a lightened crankshaft for much better acceleration about 5000 miles ago. I've put about $4,000 into the motor rebuild which I have receipts for.

Just got brand new Michelin Pilot Power 3 tires installed a week ago so they are virtually BRAND NEW. Also did a coolant flush and oil change at the same time as the tires.

Bike is basically stock. Only upgrades are:
Puig smoked windscreen
LSL Frame sliders
LSL Rearsets
Two brothers full exhaust

I'm also including my two helmets and my Sena 20S bluetooth headset with the bike since I'm getting out of the sport.

All of the pictures are of the bike in its current state.

For local Pickup ONLY. If buyer wishes to ship the bike, they will arrange pickup from my house and pay all shipping costs.
This is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to remove this listing at any time.

Villopoto and Kawasaki have been a winning combination both indoors and outdoors. Villopoto won three 250 motocross titles and a Supercross Lites West Region title with Kawasaki before moving up to the 450 class in 2009, winning two Supercross races in his rookie year.

Left Side Story: A Double-Amputee Keeps His Racing Dreams Alive – Video

Thu, 11 Oct 2012

Australian rider Alan Kempster lost his right arm and leg in 1990 when an intoxicated truck driver crashed into his motorcycle. The accident changed Kempster’s life, but what it did not do was dampen his spirit and his love of racing. The determined Kempster rigged a racebike and returned to the track, not only competing against abled riders, but also winning.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 1 Results

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
