Up for sale is a beautiful 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. I love this bike but other priorities in life mean it has to go. I’ve had it for the last four years and in that time it’s never been raced or laid down. Garage kept, always taken care of. Comes with: Akropovic exhaust, tank protector, and brand new battery as of last year. The bike runs and handles excellently. Recently the front brake has become a bit spongy and bleeding the lines solves the problem for a while, but it is an issue to be taken care of that I simply don’t have the time to fix. In addition, when I bought the bike it had an integrated tail light system installed but the lens has just recently come off. Included in the sale of the bike is a new in box system from the same brand to replace the lens. Again, a simple fix but one that I can no longer devote time to. Clear Maryland title in my name, in hand. Cash or Certified Check only before I sign over the title. Buyer is responsible for shipping. My loss is your gain, I just want to see her go to a good home. 2013 Ninjas in New York
Mon, 27 Aug 2012In a very untraditional move, Kawasaki is readying to assail New York’s Times Square on September 13, with 2013 model Ninjas. A day-long, two-block party on Broadway, from West 45th to West 47th Streets, will celebrate the global debut of the new Ninjas with music, giveaways and celebrity guests. For those who cannot make it to the Big Apple, Kawasaki will be live streaming the “Ninja Times Square Takeover” on the Kawasaki.com website from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
WSBK: 2012 Brno Results
Mon, 23 Jul 2012Marco Melandri bit a chunk off of Max Biaggi‘s World Superbike championship points lead by taking a pair of wins at Brno. The double was the first in Melandri’s career and the first for BMW. Biaggi, who arrived in the Czech Republic with four wins and nine podium finishes in ten previous races at Brno, was held off the podium this year, shrinking his lead in the championship to 21 points from 48.
2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Ninja 650 and Versys Pegged for Recall
Wed, 07 Mar 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall for certain 2012 Ninja 250R and Ninja 650 sportbikes as well as the Versys 650 due to a risk of the passenger footpegs falling off. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the circlips on the footpegs’ mounting pins may break under engine vibrations, potentially leading the footpegs to detach. This poses a potential danger to the passenger.
