Showdown: 2021 Honda CRF300L Vs 2021 Kawasaki KLX300
Fri, 04 Mar 2022Entry-level, exit-level, and all points in between Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield; Video by: Sean Matic | Videos by Sean Matic Honda’s first CL72 250 Scrambler was lashed to the bumper of many a Conestoga wagon as it made its way westward, and I’m pretty sure it was a Kawasaki KLX300 that I wheelied over backwards, circa 1997, that really dampened my enthusiasm for stunting. It also delivers better response and control through eliminating the factory fuel cut off and optimizing the off throttle deceleration mapping.
WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report
Mon, 21 Oct 2013Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
