This auction is for a 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 250CC motor cycle. This bike is used and in great condition with only 1,629 miles on it. What you see in the pics is what you will be buying. There is a very small dent on the top driver side of the tank you really have to look to see it. The bike runs and drives great. It will be a great bike for beginner or anyone who wants to have fun running around for the Summer with the wind in there hair. 2013 Ninjas in New York

In a very untraditional move, Kawasaki is readying to assail New York’s Times Square on September 13, with 2013 model Ninjas. A day-long, two-block party on Broadway, from West 45th to West 47th Streets, will celebrate the global debut of the new Ninjas with music, giveaways and celebrity guests. For those who cannot make it to the Big Apple, Kawasaki will be live streaming the “Ninja Times Square Takeover” on the Kawasaki.com website from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

Chris Vermeulen to Replace Colin Edwards at Le Mans

NGM Forward Racing has named veteran MotoGP racer Chris Vermeulen the substitute rider for the injured Colin Edwards at the May 20 French Grand Prix at Le Mans. Vermeulen will ride the team’s BMW-powered Suter Claiming Rule machine. Vermeulen raced four full seasons in MotoGP from 2006-2009, all with the Rizla Suzuki team.
