I have owned this bike since 2012 and I am letting it go because I just don't have the time for it. The carb needs cleaned, and the bike runs. Besides that the oil was changed 300 miles ago and I had the seats reupholstered 2 years ago. The bike has normal wear and the tires are good for another few thousand miles. You'll have to come and get the bike or ship it yourself. I will give the helmet (600 new) and bike cover (100 new) with the bike. I will post pictures or answer any questions that are requested! 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250R, Ninja 650 and Versys Pegged for Recall
Wed, 07 Mar 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall for certain 2012 Ninja 250R and Ninja 650 sportbikes as well as the Versys 650 due to a risk of the passenger footpegs falling off. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the circlips on the footpegs’ mounting pins may break under engine vibrations, potentially leading the footpegs to detach. This poses a potential danger to the passenger.
