1992 Kawasaki Ninja Zx -6, 1992 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6 600cc inline 4 / 104hp - water and oil cooled 6 speed 47k miles Clear KY title Have only ridden it 96 miles since I finished painting and putting back together. No problems! Good: -Amateur restoration. Not perfect but much better than when I found it. Stripped it to the frame, cleaned, sanded and painted. - Muzzy Exhaust - Fresh oil change with new filter - New air filter - New thermostat and radiator hose - New spark plugs - GPS - NO LEAKS ANYWHERE! Recent chain maintenance - Good tires (if you ride for fun you have a while but if used daily as a commuter, probably need tires by early summer) The bad: - 2nd gear pops out into neutral about 80% of the time. It has enough power that I just skip into 3rd from 1st. - Needs igntion key switch, start button and gas cap. key was broke in the gas cap. Use a screw driver to start it now. All this costs about $65 on ebay. I will fix in the next few months if I dont sell it. - Still making replacement carbon fiber decals. Will have these done and on the bike in a few weeks if I don't sell. - Blemishes. .I'm not professional restorer. there are run marks from paint on the windshield and mirrors. will fix this in the nsxte week if not sold. - Gear in the front hub that runs the speedometer is out. Doesnt bother me because I have the GPS mounted to keep track of speed and mileage. - Tear in the seat. Will replace if I dont sell.
