****** Buell didn't produce many of these, just over 1500 of them.****** 2003 Buell Lightning XB9 SL. The "L" denominates "Low". These have a lowered suspension and seat giving a lower seat height. It seems to handle the curves much better than the standard XB9s that I have ridden. The bike has been dropped on the left side resulting in a tank dent and other minor scratches. The update is expected to be relatively minor, adding traction control to the Z650RS. The update would bring the retro RS model in line with the more modern-styled Z650 and the Ninja 650, both of which were updated with traction control for 2023, as well as the Versys 650 which received traction control in 2022.
