THIS AUCTION IS FOR ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MOTORCYCLES...1974 KAWASAKI MC1 90 MINI ENDURO. IT IS VERY SIMILAR TO THE YAMAHA GT80 HONDA XL70 SL70 AND SUZUKI TS75. THE BEAUTRY OF THE MC1 90 IS THE ENGINE IS VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL TO THE 100CC VERSIONS AND AS SUCH IT IS ACTUALLY OVERBUILT FOR SUCH A SMALL MOTORCYCLE. THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THIS MOTORCYCLE IS EXTREMELY NICE. THE PAINT IS VERY GOOD, ALL OF THE PLASTICS ARE GREAT AND THE SEAT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ALL OF THE CHROME IS VERY NICE AS WELL, AND IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL FACTORY ISSUED KEYS. EVERYTHING WORKS EXACTLY AS IT DID WHEN NEW AND THIS BIKE DOESN'T NEED ANYTHING OTHER THAN POSSIBLY A NEW REAR TIRE WHICH IS GETTING A LITTLE THIN. I WILL INCLUDE A BRAND NEW ONE WITH THE SALE OF THE MOTORCYCLE. THE RESERVE IS EXTREMELY REASONABLE, AND THESE ROTARY VALVE MODEL KAWASAKI 2 STROKE ENGINES ARE ALMOST BULLET-PROOF. THERE IS NO LEAKS OR ISSUES ANYWHERE AND THE OIL INJECTION SYSTEM IS INTACT AND PROPERLY SET SO YOU'RE GOOD TO GO WITHOUT THE WORRY OF PRE-MIXING GAS AND OIL. SO MANY OF THESE LITTLE GEMS WERE EITHER STRIPPED DOWN FOR OFF ROAD USE OR JUST ABUSED BY THEIR YOUTHFUL OWNERS, BUT NOT THIS ONE. IT IS AS MUCH AT HOME IN A COLLECTION AS IT IS ON THE STREETS RIDING TO THE STORE OR CAMP GROUND. THESE MAKE EXCELLENT PIT BIKES FOR NASCAR OR NHRA AND IHRA DRAG RACING, AND SINCE IT IS STREET LEGAL AND I HAVE A CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE YOU CAN LICENSE IT ANYWHERE. THIS IS JUST A GREAT SURVIVOR THAT CAN BE ENJOYED AS IS WITHOUT HAVING TO SPEND ANY MONEY TO MAKE IT ROAD WORTHY...ENJOY IT TODAY. Attack Performance Announces MotoGP CRT Effort
Mon, 09 Apr 2012Attack Performance officially announced it will race in the 2012 U.S. Grand Prix and Indianapolis Grand Prix on a Kawasaki-powered Claiming Rule Team machine. Reports the Huntington Beach, Calif., racing parts manufacturer was granted a wild card to the two American MotoGP rounds surfaced last week, the AMA Pro Racing regular officially confirmed the news just as the 2012 MotoGP World Championship got under way.
Malaysian Police Launches Fleet of 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250 Patrol Bikes – Video
Wed, 02 Jan 2013The Royal Malaysian Police has upgraded its motorcycle patrol squad with a fleet of police-spec 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 250 sportbikes. The law agency’s Unit Rondaan Bermotosikal (Malaysian for motorcycling patrol unit) will receive 1000 units of the Ninja 250 which received a substantial update for 2013. Essentially, it’s the same as the Kawasaki Ninja 300 with ABS and fuel injection but with a 249cc engine.

Fri, 01 Mar 2013CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips. Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
