For sale is a nice 1975 Kawasaki KZ900 Z1. Bike has 17,731 miles. Obviously this bike will need some restoration to bring it back to its full glory, but the good news is that I have a clear title in hand for it, and the motor turns over and has great compression. The carb slides are frozen, and I assume they will need a full rebuild. The brakes are also frozen open and will need work. Bike rolls nicely and feels pretty tight. Tank looks good, has a little rust inside but not hateful. Overall this is a great starting point for a rare Z1 resto project. The transforming Kawasaki J Concept was one of the highlights of the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, thanks to its futuristic styling that was like a cross between a Tron Lightcycle and the Batpod from Christopher Nolan‘s Batman trilogy. The electric three-wheeler is unlikely to enter full production, but it is nice to see some outrageous concept models again. The J Concept was primarily produced to showcase Kawasaki‘s GIGACELL high-capacity nickel-metal hydride battery technology, but the most dramatic feature is the concept’s ability to transform.

Ryan Villopoto and Jake Weimer have signed multi-year contract extensions with Kawasaki, ensuring the two riders will continue competing for Team Green in AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross championships through 2013 and beyond. Villopoto and Kawasaki have been a winning combination both indoors and outdoors. Villopoto won three 250 motocross titles and a Supercross Lites West Region title with Kawasaki before moving up to the 450 class in 2009, winning two Supercross races in his rookie year.
