Kawasaki KZ650 3,100 original miles description

Original KZ650B with only 3,100 miles. Everything is original and in good shape including chrome and paint. Bike has not been registered since 1980. Factory tires are still on the bike. The bike is in great condition looks, starts and runs like new. This gem needs very little to be just like new. A couple of blinker dents in the tank that should be paintless repaired to keep original. Electric Starter may be going out but starts on the first kick every time. Runs and shifts like a new bike. I'm the second owner. Original owner rode it for 2 years and it's been in a garage until I got it. I can send more pictures or answer any questions that I can. 2014 Kawasaki World Superbike Team Launch

Kawasaki officially launched its 2014 World Superbike Championship campaign, introducing its three-rider lineup of reigning World Champion Tom Sykes, Loris Baz and David Salom along with the Ninja ZX-10R superbike. The Japanese manufacturer also used the launch party in Barcelona, Spain, to mark the 30th anniversary of the Ninja line which began with the 1984 Kawasaki GPZ900R. Kawasaki revealed a special 30th anniversary logo which will be featured on the side fairings of the 2014 Ninja ZX-10R superbike’s livery.

Webb Wins Salt Lake City EnduroCross

From an EnduroCross press release: Factory Beta and Stillwell Performance-backed Cody Webb took a decisive win tonight in Salt Lake City’s inaugural AMA GEICO EnduroCross event. The win was Webb’s second after taking the first round victory in Las Vegas and puts him and his Beta two-stroke 300 into the points lead. The race fans in attendance at the Energy Solutions Arena saw a night go almost perfectly for GEICO-supported Webb.

FIM Releases New WSBK Rules – Updates Include Pitstops, Weight Limits and Headlight Decals

The International Motorcycling Federation and the Superbike Racing Commission released a number of amendments to the 2013 World Superbike Championship rulebook including pitstops, fake headlights and a revised starting grid alignment. We’ve already seen the fake headlights with Kawasaki getting a jump on the new regulation earlier this season with headlight decals on Tom Sykes‘ and Loris Baz‘s ZX-10R. Starting in 2013, all superbikes will have fake headlights to resemble their homologated production models.
