This KZ1300 is close to complete. It will need some work as I can not get the engine to spin with a hot battery. I have NO idea why, starter? engine locked?? I just don't know why, please expect the worst. It is in very good physical condition but likely will need some engine work. There are some missing parts, IE; shift lever, left peg, top air box section, left side cover, etc. If you see it missing in the pictures then I do not have it. This KZ has nice instrument, a clean fuel tank that just needs a good wash out. The exhaust is rock solid with no rash, though it does have acid damage on the top of the left muffler. The chrome thought-out the bike is in very good condition. Carbs are very clean on the outside, I have not opened them up. Intake manifolds appear to be in very good condition as well. Clean wheels and front forks. This bike is just too nice to part. If this bike does not sell then I will be parting it out. AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success
Mon, 29 Jul 2013AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.
2014 AMA Supercross – Toronto Results
Mon, 24 Mar 2014James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
