2005 Kawasaki KZ1000 Police Motorcycle. Bike was originally purchased from a Dallas PD auction then sold on eBay where I purchased it.
I used the motorcycle in a motorcycle escort business; escorting funerals, motorcycle event escorts and other details. All lights are in working order. Warning lights are amber to the front and amber / red to the sides and rear. Warning lights can be programmed as flash, steady on, synchronized flash, or Wig-Wag. Siren is a 100w electric air horn only. Bike runs and drives excellent. There will be auctions for the other two bikes pictured in the photo. All are set up the same. I simply don't have the time to run the business and need the space more than i need the bikes. Questions, feel free to call three 15 four 8 one 03 one one. 2014 WSBK – Assen Results
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.
Hopkins to Sit Out 2013 Racing Season to Recover from Injuries
Tue, 09 Oct 2012American John Hopkins announced he is taking a sabbatical from racing for 2013 to recover from a number of significant injuries. Hopkins’ once very promising racing career has been hampered by both a series of bad luck and injury. It seems so long ago that Hopkins finished fourth overall in the 2007 MotoGP Championship with Suzuki.

The KX legacy began in 1974 with the KX250 which was based on the works machine ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Weinert in 1973. The KX Dirt Domination page highlights the successes of the KX line over the last 40 years, including its astounding run in AMA Supercross and Motocross over the last decade.
