Super clean 1980 KZ1000 LTD with only 12,325 original miles. It runs and drives flawlessly, presently owned by a life-long motorcycle mechanic who formerly worked and is presently working at an area Kawasaki bike dealer. This bike was one in his personal collection. He's into Kawasaki Z1's and finally landed a first generation model. This one goes to make room. Bike is stock including the muffler except for the stock painted header. Paint is nice, original two-tone ebony and silver. Original air-box, etc. Inside of the gas tank is clean. Carbs are fully rebuilt, clean and synched. New gel battery. Tires are good. Clear Pennsylvania title. This bike is ready to drive. I'd not hesitate riding it home. We all like to save a shilling if we can, especially these days, but sometimes, doing a job yourself, cutting corners and generally grubbing round being tight fisted actually ends up costing you more money than biting the bullet and putting your hand a bit deeper into your pocket to get a proper job done. The problem is, I come from a long line of, erm, frugal Yorkshire b####rds going back generations, and I seem to be hardwired as a bit of a skinflint. My dad, although never actually short of money, that I could remember, didn’t like spending it.
