Kawasaki KZ description

It breaks my heart to sell this bike.  All my instincts tell me not to, but even so…
This classic motorcycle is in beautiful condition because it had been kept for 37 of the last 40 years.  The gas tank and side panels had been painted a different color, but have now been returned to stock green.  The exhaust pipes were also replaced by the original owner.  They show some discoloration at the manifolds and pitting along the length, but are otherwise in good condition.  The rims and spokes are shiny and rust free.  The original owner replaced the original seat with a two-person seat.  While the sissy-bar is not shown in the listed photographs, it is included with purchase.  The tires are two years old and have seen 1,200 miles of use.  They have a good bit of tread on them.  All other parts and components of this vehicle are stock, manufacturer's parts.

Kawasaki Vulcan SS

Mon, 28 Dec 2015

Jesse Bassett from the GasBox workshop became a contender for the title of Kawasaki designer. As part of the Breaking Boundaries Build-Off program, the evergreen brand offered him and five other designers to try their hand at tuning the Vulcan S. Without hesitation, Bassett cut the rear fender, installed a new seat, a long shock absorber and wheels.

Recall for 2011 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT

Thu, 30 Jun 2011

Kawasaki is issuing a recall on the 2011 Vulcan Classic LT tourer due to a risk of damage to the tires’ inner tubes. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the inner tubes on some Kawasaki Vulcan Classic LT models may become pinched near the valve stem during mounting. In some cases, this may result in a loss of air pressure.

Pooch Maxi

A reader sent in this news story featured on SWNS.com. Sean Cole, 43, a pizza delivery man has hand-built the transparent kennel and fixed it to the back of his red Kawasaki GPZ900 to carry his dog Gizmo with him when he's out and about. The box has special air holes and a fan to keep the one-year-old dog – a Coton de Tulear – nice and cool on each trip.
