Kawasaki KZ 900 LTD description
1 owner 1976 KZ900B, unrestored original condition, carbs recently cleaned, new battery, good tires. Original red paint faded, small dent in tank, please see pictures. Overall an excellent example of the 1st yr. LTD, which were handmade in Lincoln NE. LTD mods from standard KZ's were dual disc brakes on the front, Mag wheels, smaller fuel tank and king/queen style seat. 2 into 2 exhaust replaced with 4 into1 style. Small oil leak from left side cover. Bike was sitting in heat and aired shop for it's entire life. Owner is pro flattracker in the 70's Mike Ramy, he bought it new and owned and cared for it since. Fri, 07 Jan 2011We all like to save a shilling if we can, especially these days, but sometimes, doing a job yourself, cutting corners and generally grubbing round being tight fisted actually ends up costing you more money than biting the bullet and putting your hand a bit deeper into your pocket to get a proper job done. The problem is, I come from a long line of, erm, frugal Yorkshire b####rds going back generations, and I seem to be hardwired as a bit of a skinflint. My dad, although never actually short of money, that I could remember, didn’t like spending it.

Mon, 27 Aug 2012The historic race first-ever World Superbike Championship round in Russia provided plenty of drama with several top riders crashing out of both races and a new leader emerge in the chase for the 2012 WSBK Championship. Superpole qualifying made for four different manufacturers lining up in the first row of the grid, with Carlos Checa taking pole position for Althea Ducati ahead of Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes, Aprilia‘s Eugene Laverty and BMW rider Leon Haslam. A slightly damp and unfamiliar track likely contributed to a number of crashes and collisions.
