im selling my 2012 kx 450, bought it brand new. its been well taken care of with 56 hours all together on it. I run full synthetic oil in it and change it every 5 hours.  I have rebuilt it and also has a new clutch with only 10 hours on them. it also has brand new renthal twin wall handle bars, bar clamps and renthal chain and sprockets. has all black plastic and stock green plastic that comes with it as well. never had a problem with this bike by far my favorite bike I have ever owned. Kawasaki Reports Q2 2012-2013 Results

Kawasaki reported an operating loss of 2.2 billion yen (US$27.1 million) from its motorcycle and engine business for its second quarter ended Sept. 30, 2012. Despite the loss, the quarter still represented an improvement from the same quarter last year which saw a loss of 2.3 billion yen.

Kawasaki Recalls Concours 14 for Rear Brake Problem A Previous Recall Failed to Fix

Kawasaki is issuing a recall for the Concours 14 for a rear brake pedal issue the company had previously tried to fix in 2008. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, road debris can get trapped between the brake pedal and a pedal guard, causing slight pressure on the rear brakes. The rear brake drag can cause the brakes to overheat, potentially leading to brake damage, a rear brake lockup or failure of the rear brakes.
