Kawasaki KX tech info

Kawasaki KX description
Obtained this bike from a police impound lot. It was suspected of being stolen (VIN had been filed off) but it could not be proven. Police officer (friend of the family) gave it to me after they decided to clean house and I was able to get it running great. There was a malfunction however (piston came loose?) and it does not run at the moment. Of course, these two cycle bikes can be repaired pretty quickly and ride well. It would also make for a decent bike to part out - I don't have the time at the moment. There is a decent amount of wear and tear given the bike's age. However, there is no major frame or suspension damage. It has been in covered storage for about six years; there is no major rusting or other deterioration.

New 1972 Kawasaki Z1 only £720
Fri, 29 Jun 2012Looking at the pictures of Japanese firm Yamato's new Kawasaki Z1 you'd be hard pushed to tell it's not the real thing. But in fact it's a scale model only just over a foot long, made with incredible attention to detail with several years of development to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original 900cc Z1 of 1972. Using 3D scanning of real parts, the bike was scaled down to create this model, which has now gone on sale in Japan at an eye-watering £720 apiece.
