Up for sale is my 2003 Kawasaki KX 60 dirt bike. This KX 60 is in like new condition. I purchased this dirt bike brand new in 2011 for my wife. She rode the bike around our back yard a few times in preparation in thinking she was going to learn how to ride a street bike and get her motorcycle M class license. After seeing that learning to ride was a little more difficult than riding a bicycle, she was no longer interested in learning to ride. After this, my son learned how to ride and is now 15 years old and has out grown this awesome little dirt bike.
As you can see by the photos, the bike is in incredible condition. Maintenance and oil changes have been completed every spring, even though the bike has been ridden very little. You will not be disappointed with this motorcycle. Bike runs as new, and starts on 1st or 2nd kick every time. This bike would make someone VERY happy as a Christmas present, I promise you that! As my son has out grown this beautiful little machine, it is now just sitting in the garage and taking up space. We are hoping that someone else can use and love this machine as much as we have, and have as much fun as we have had with it. If you live in the area, you are welcome to come and look at the bike anytime. I will not ship the bike, but will be happy to assist with shipping arrangements made by and paid for by the buyer. Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. There is one small scratch on the rear fender as you can see in the photo. I also have a brand new, still in the packages, full set of plastics (front fender, rear fender, side plates, radiator shroud and new stickers) for the bike at an additional cost, if you are interested. Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More
Wed, 17 Jul 2013Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.

Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.
Kawasaki Confirms New Z1000 Arriving at 2013 EICMA Show
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Kawasaki confirmed it will introduce a new Z1000 on Nov. 5 during the 2013 EICMA show in Milan. Team Green has been running a teaser campaign for the new Z for a couple of weeks now, so this isn’t exactly surprising news, except to confirm the new model will continue to use the Z1000 designation.
