Kawasaki KX description

For sale a 2001 KX 65 dirt bike. Just had the engine fixed after I burned the piston rod. (Didn't use synthetic oil) Replaced the internals of the engine and cleaned the carbeurator. I have ridden the bike for about two hours since the replacements and it runs like new. It starts easily for a two stroke. Since the new engine it has started 1st or 2nd kick everytime. I have run Dominator synthetic two stroke oil through it as of late. It has a two little indentions in the seat from an angry mom's fingernails. This bike is quite fast for its size. I am the 2nd owner after buying it in 2004. The previous owner had a son who started riding 4 wheelers instead. It comes with all the paperwork including the manual and a helmet. I will also throw in a grey and black fly handlebar foam cover thing. It's a great 1st bike for someone to grow into. This was my 1st one and I learned to ride it at eight years old. I dont have a trailer but it might fit into the back of our volvo sedan. Id rather not drive it somewhere but I will if I have too. Im buying a bigger bike with the money from this one. Sadly it has gotten a little too small. You are welcome to drive it around my backyard and my neighbor has a small track that would be fine too. Thanks for looking please give me a text or call. -Ryan Ratliff

WSBK 2013: Jerez Race Report

Mon, 21 Oct 2013

Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
