Kawasaki KX description

This bike has been completely rebuilt once in about 2007. All new bearings in the engine and transmission and suspension have been replaced, even the little ones. As you know these were great bikes in the day. The engine was originally black but glass beaded clean and clear coated. There has been some cool mod's just because. The Kx 125's didnt go hydraulics in the rear until 1986. So this little beauty has the rear wheel and Master cylinder/caliper/disk/19 inch wheel from a 1986. Swing arm is still 1985 and front and rear suspension have all been professionally rebuilt. The rear fender is 2001 Kx style and Pro taper bars up front. The graphics are home made and the right side has been removed. Some earlier pictures were included and current pictures as well The bike starts very reliably and keeps up with them all. Let me know if you have any questions.

Kawasaki Producing 599cc 2013 Ninja ZX-6R for Japanese Racing Homologation

Wed, 31 Oct 2012

When Kawasaki announced it was upping the engine displacement for the Ninja ZX-6R to 636cc, the immediate question on many Team Green fans’ minds was what it would mean for the company’s supersport racing efforts. Kenan Sofuloglu won the 2012 World Supersport Championship on a Kawasaki ZX-6R, but under the regulations, he may not be allowed to defend his title next season on the 2013 model as homologation requirements in Supersport racing series limit Inline-Fours to displacements smaller than 600cc. Fear not however, as Kawasaki will be producing a special version of the ZX-6R with an engine displacement of 599cc, the same as the 2012 version.
