1977 Kawasaki KV75. Completely restored to factory specs. All parts replaced are OEM with exception of hardware, which was replaced with stainless steel.(All replaced parts will be included in sale) Engine and trans. completely rebuilt using factory parts; New pistons/rings New cylinder barrel and head New bearings/seals New shift drum and gears New clutch assy. Original carburetor rebuilt/rejetted Factory correct engine/case paint color Original frame and forks powder coated Factory correct badging on exhaust, oil tank, and fuel tank Original seat foam with new cover and piping New correct Bridgestone tires Fuel tank cleaned and painted factory correct color and decals Engine starts consistently on 1st or 2nd kick with less than 5 hours on restoration. Kawasaki Recalls Concours 14 for Rear Brake Problem A Previous Recall Failed to Fix
Fri, 27 Jul 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall for the Concours 14 for a rear brake pedal issue the company had previously tried to fix in 2008. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, road debris can get trapped between the brake pedal and a pedal guard, causing slight pressure on the rear brakes. The rear brake drag can cause the brakes to overheat, potentially leading to brake damage, a rear brake lockup or failure of the rear brakes.
Sykes Staying with Kawasaki Through 2016 WSBK Season
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Reigning World Superbike Champion Tom Sykes has signed a contract extension with Kawasaki to see him continue to ride for Team Green through the 2016 season. Sykes, who currently holds a 44-point lead over Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli with three rounds remaining in the season, has been with Kawasaki since 2010. Since hopping on board the Ninja ZX-10R superbike, Sykes has won 22 WSBK races and holds a record for 23 Superpoles in the current qualifying format.
