Kawasaki KLX description

2011 Kawasaki KLX140L, Team Green⿿s Stepping Stone Between Mini and Full-Sized Off-Road MachineryThe gap between minibike and full-sized machine has traditionally been a wide one. And for novices, making that jump can be difficult indeed. But now there⿿s a motorcycle that bridges the gap nicely ⿿ Kawasaki⿿s KLX⿢ 140L. Featuring 19 inch front and 16 inch rear wheels fitted to the standard spec KLX140, the L-model is the ideal machine for more experienced or longer-limbed fans of smaller displacement machines. And with its more performance-oriented, reservoir-equipped rear shock, there⿿s plenty of performance for everyone. As always, the standard KLX ⿿ with 17 inch front and 14 inch rear wheels ⿿ is a first-rate option for novices and smaller riders.

KTM rookie Ken Roczen captured his first 450 class win in the AMA Supercross world championship, taking the season opener at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. An audience of 45,050 fans watched a clean race from the rookie while errors by veterans like James Stewart and three-time reigning champion Ryan Villopoto knocked them out of contention. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.
