Kawasaki KLX description

2011 Kawasaki KLX140L, Team Green’s Stepping Stone Between Mini and Full-Sized Off-Road Machinery The gap between minibike and full-sized machine has traditionally been a wide one. And for novices, making that jump can be difficult indeed. But now there’s a motorcycle that bridges the gap nicely – Kawasaki’s KLX 140L. Featuring 19 inch front and 16 inch rear wheels fitted to the standard spec KLX140, the L-model is the ideal machine for more experienced or longer-limbed fans of smaller displacement machines. And with its more performance-oriented, reservoir-equipped rear shock, there’s plenty of performance for everyone. As always, the standard KLX – with 17 inch front and 14 inch rear wheels – is a first-rate option for novices and smaller riders.

Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class

Mon, 07 Jan 2013

According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.
