Kawasaki’s KLX 140 dirt bike with its 17 inch front and 14 inch rear wheels has opened the door for a wider variety of riders in the small displacement off-road arena. More advanced or longer-limbed riders can turn to its sibling, the larger 19 inch front and 16 inch rear-wheeled KLX140L. Both 140s are designed to be beginner and novice friendly, yet offer a roomy layout and enough performance to suit more-advanced riders.

Mon, 27 Feb 2012Max Biaggi won the opening race to the 2012 World Superbike Championship while defending champion Carlos Checa came back from a high-speed crash in the first race to win the second at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. Reigning champion Checa of Althea Ducati had a stunning high-side crash while leading on the sixth lap of Race One. The WSBK paddock was already in shock with the death of 17-year-old Oscar McIntyre in the Superstock 600 race the day before but thankfully Checa was not seriously injured.
Jeremy Toye Wins 92nd Running Of Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Mon, 30 Jun 2014On his first attempt at the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, road racer Jeremy Toye set a record in the premiere Open Class to win the category aboard a 2015 Kawasaki ZX-10R, celebrating the 30th year of the legendary Ninja brand. Prior to setting foot on the hill, Toye was confident he could get among the class leaders, aiming to beat the outright Pikes Peak motorcycle record, which was set by Carlin Dunne in 2012 with a time of 9:52.819. While that record remains intact, Toye was able to set a time of 9:58.687 to win the Open Class, finishing 6sec ahead of his closest rival, Fabrice Lambert aboard a Ducati.
