Lady Moto Gymkhana: ‘You Ride Like A Girl’ – Video
Thu, 22 Mar 2012A time-tested putdown among boys and adult males is the “You throw like a girl” insult meant to highlight the targeted male’s inability to throw some object with the appropriate force needed to get the object moving and continuing along the correct trajectory. WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
WSBK 2013: Laguna Seca Race Report
Mon, 30 Sep 2013Tom Sykes and Eugene Laverty each came away with a victory as the World Superbike Championship made its return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The first race featured two red flags, ironically caused by AMA Superbike regulars Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden, the two men with the most recent experience at the famed track. The second race was a much cleaner affair, with a dramatic finish, setting up the final two rounds of the championship.
