2010 Kawasaki KLR 650 With MANY Extras, Bought New as a leftover in Jan 2012, After the break in period of 1200 miles I added the quietest and nicest exhaust I could find, the FMF Q4 Quiet Core and it gave it the perfect little rumble and quicker throttle response, if you remove the Quiet Core then I would imagine it would be extremely loud. The carburetor has been jetted (JT Jet and Needle Kit) to fit the extra flow and it idles and runs so much better than stock (I did keep the stock muffler, it weighs a ton!) I added a Seat Concepts seat foam and cover and it not only is comfortable but looks awesome too. It has a battery tender hook that plugs into a hub that allows you to charge 2 USB Devices and plug in 2 12V Sockets for other devices. But unlike the current parallel-twin Ninja 400, which is essentially a budget bike dressed in sportbike clothes, this newest model is worthy of the ZX prefix, as it boasts proper suspension, twin radial brakes, a full electronics suite, and chassis geometry inspired by its ZX-6R and ZX-10R siblings – oh, and let’s not forget – a compact four-banger that will rev to over 15,000 rpm!

The alternative energy models are part of Kawasaki’s efforts to reach carbon neutrality, with production models expected to launch in the next two to three years. Most of the prototypes used Kawasaki’s new Go with Green Power logo which will be used on its carbon neutrality efforts.
