This is a NICE 2011 Kawasaki KLR650. It runs and rides great. Has been well maintained. There are some scuff marks on the end of exhaust and right side panel, you can see them in the pictures. The tires are like new. It only has 11,995 miles on the bike. Please look over the pictures and email with any questions before bidding. SOLD AS-IS, NO WARRANTY, NO RETURN. Pick up only. 2011-2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Recalled for Crankcase Oil Leak
Fri, 10 Aug 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on its 2011 and 2012 Ninja ZX-10R due to a potential oil leak in the crankcase. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, engine oil may leak from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R‘s crankcase from a machined area where the starter is mounted. Leaked oil may pool on top of the crank case and, under continued use, spill onto the rear tire, reducing traction and increasing the risk of a crash.
2015 Kawasaki Vulcan S Announced
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Kawasaki revealed a new cruiser model equipped with the 649cc parallel-Twin engine from the Ninja 650. The result is an entry-level cruiser with sportbike-derived power retailing for $6999 ($7399 with ABS). The fuel-injected engine is tuned for smooth power delivery, with revised camshaft profiles, intake funnel length, throttle body spacer and air intake for better low- and mid-range power delivery.
WSBK 2013: Magny-Cours Race Report
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.
