Kawasaki KD125 description
1977 KAWASAKI KD125 - NICE ORIGINAL SURVIVOR. RUNS AWESOME, VERY FAST. BIKE IS IN VERY GOOD SHAPE. IT HAS BEEN TORN DOWN CLEANED, PAINTED AND LUBED AND IT RUNS GREAT. IT COULD STILL USE A LITTLE TLC IN ORDER TO BE PERFECT. THIS BIKE IS NOT A TRAILER QUEEN AND IT HAS BEEN USED AND RIDDEN AND HAS SOME NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. I THINK THE TIRES ARE ORIGINAL AND THEY HAVE A LITTLE CRACKING. ONE SMALL PIN HOLE AND A SMALL PIECE OF BEADING IS LOOSE ON THE SEAT (SEE PICTURES). LOOK AT THE PICTURES CAREFULLY AND ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. I AM SELLING THIS BIKE FOR A FRIEND, CLEAN TITLE IN HAND. Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
WSBK: 2012 Magny-Cours Results – Championship Decided by Half a Point
Tue, 09 Oct 2012You would think carrying a 30.5 point lead into the final round of the 2012 World Superbike Championship would be a safe enough margin to win the title. Aprilia‘s Max Biaggi made it interesting, inexplicably crashing out of the first race at the finale in Magny-C0urs before scoring a fifth place finish in Race Two to give him a 0.5 point margin over Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes to win the title. The 358 to 357.5 point difference is the narrowest finish ever in WSBK.
2011-2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Recalled for Crankcase Oil Leak
Fri, 10 Aug 2012Kawasaki is issuing a recall on its 2011 and 2012 Ninja ZX-10R due to a potential oil leak in the crankcase. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, engine oil may leak from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R‘s crankcase from a machined area where the starter is mounted. Leaked oil may pool on top of the crank case and, under continued use, spill onto the rear tire, reducing traction and increasing the risk of a crash.
