Kawasaki H2 Mach IV description

Selling a 1974 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV 750 triple for restoration or parts.  It's rough, has some rust as you can see, but looks basically complete and unmolested. The numbers on the title, H2F32621, the numbers on the frame H2F-32621, the numbers on the engine H2E-32773.  The frame looks unmodified, has surface rust and a couple of spots bubbling under the seat are that will need attention.  The engine has no chipped or damaged fins. The engine is frozen from sitting. I put some oil in the cylinders a few days ago to see if it would come loose. I haven't put much force on it, so not to break anything, I still can't free it. I would think at minimum it would need a top end rebuild, maybe more? The seat and pan are shot. You will need to weld new seat hinges to the frame while you are restoring. The left side cover has a rust hole maybe the size of a dime, the headlight bucket is rusted underneath totally.  The left exhaust is rusted through at the end.  The bike shows 8441 miles, I have a clear Florida title signed by previous owner ready to go. Previous owner had bike for a long time and said he never dropped it (although he left it outside a couple years).  I had to rescue this rare bike, but it is too much for me to restore, so it will go to highest bidder. I have the key and also an old hardback manual for it, that will go with it. If you are local and want to come see it before bidding let me know, I encourage that. Buyer to arrange and pay shipping from my house in zip 33472 Boynton Beach, Florida.  Please don't bid if you are not going to follow through with deal, as had happened before with me on Ebay. You click it, you own it. $500 deposit due within 48 hours of auction end, balance within 7 days after auction end. I can hold the bike for you for 3 weeks as long as it's paid in full within a week.

Fri, 27 Jan 2012

The 2012 MotoGP season is still months away and the world championship has already lost an entry, as veteran Anthony West announced his withdrawal from the series because he cannot afford to compete. The 30-year-old Australian racer was included on the provisional 2012 MotoGP entry list to compete for the Speed Master team on an Aprilia CRT machine. But with the official pre-season test at Sepang, Malaysia, coming up next week, West says he will not race because teams are asking riders to pay too much to race for them.

With the recent turmoil in the AMA Pro Roadracing series lately, many teams and riders are looking at other options for the 2014 racing season.
