The Honda CM400 was a street bike produced by the Honda Motor Company from 1979 to 1982, part of a series of motorcycles with the prefix 'CM' using various engine capacities. Models included the CM400A (Automatic), CM400C (Custom), CM400E (Economy) and CM400T (Tach). The Honda CM series all generally resembled the older-style flat-seat bikes from the 60s and 70s, with the exception of a slightly raised passenger area seat and small plastic fairings for the battery and electrical. This CM400C was produced only in 1981 making it one of the more rare model types.

This is a completely original extra low mileage vintage Honda. New tires, battery, cleaned and tuned carburetors with gaskets, flushed brake fluid and a fresh oil change with an extra filter. Everything works as it should, push button electric start and kick starter, all lights and two speed automatic transmission. Excellent condition, minimal scratches of any kind, looks and drives like new. Upon selling it, the woman who originally owned it was surprised that the manual was still under the seat.

1981 Honda CM200 Twinstar in excellent condition for its age. It only has 525 miles original miles on the bike since day 1. I purchased the bike from a outside of Green Bay in 1999 from the original owner out on a farm. Saw the bike parked near the county road so I pulled in for information. The ladies husband bought it new in 81 and passed away in the mid 90's so there it sat with 300 original miles. It runs like a little sewing machine. Please call with any questions. Would really like to see it go to a great new home where it won't be abused. I will assist with shipping in any way that I can and will hold it as long as needed in my garage under cover. It has had a total servicing, oil change, the carbs adjusted, new battery, new tires and inner tubes, tuneup, with factory hardshell storage bags, crash bars, adjustable back rest, tote bag, and package rack. This 110 is in very good shape, starts and has a clear title. This has the desirable high/low adjustable transmission, very smooth shifting. However, I have recently been dealing with issues with the transfer case (after starting the bike it will ride for a short distance then fall out of gear) and starting the bike (I believe it is just the battery).

This 1981 CX500 has a custom paint job with a few flows here and there. Custom seat and tail section. The bike has cbr600rr forks/front end. Front tire is new(120/90-17, the last picture shows the bike with the original tire before I swapped it), I have the new rear tire but I have not installed it yet. I also have a set of rear break shoes that will go with the bike, the rear brakes on the bike now squeak a tiny bit, the front brakes are full of life. The small holes on either side of the tail section are for turn signal mounting, if desired. In the photo's it shows the cbr grips and extensions on the lefts but not the right, but I just added the grips and grip extension on the right as well. This bike is in its "work cloths", I was going to strip the entire bike down and powder coat the frame but I do not have the time right now. Since the photo's, I have added a new set of gold colored air shocks, the shocks in the photo's will go with the bike. I have part of the build of this bike on the CX forum: http://cx500forum.com/forum/cx-customization-modifications/21815-cx500-fork-swap-cbr600rr.html The bike runs great, and shifts through all of the gears without any issue. It handles wonderfully with the cbr front end. I have a rejet kit 90/120 for the carbs which I have not installed yet. I have the original front end with wheel and tire I would sell very cheap with this bike. I will NOT ship this bike!!! Local pickup ONLY!!! Cash in person ONLY!!! Traction control and updated instruments expected The California Air Resources Board has issued an executive order for what we expect to be an updated Kawasaki Z650RS for the 2024 model year. The update is expected to be relatively minor, adding traction control to the Z650RS. The update would bring the retro RS model in line with the more modern-styled Z650 and the Ninja 650, both of which were updated with traction control for 2023, as well as the Versys 650 which received traction control in 2022.
