For sale is a 1990 Yamaha YSR50 street bike.Keep in mind the tag says 1989 but the bike was made late June so the vin states its a 1990.This bike was used solely as a track bike and does not have lights signals or a kick start lever which can be installed if you dont want to track start it.The fiberglass body panels are in decent shape with a few cracks here and there and some runs in the paint the decals look very good.The gas tank is clean with NO rust,but I do not have a key for the tank cap.I cleaned out the carb and filled the bowl with fuel and push started and within 10 feet it fired up I have not ridden the bike just got it started.I also cleaned out the front break master cylinder and added new fluid. From what I can see the only thing that needs to be replaced is the tires.This bike was owned by a close friend in California that past away a few years ago so I purchased the bike from the estate sale. These are crazy hard to come by and I really don't want to sell it but I have been sitting on it for a few years and have too many things going on in my life to get to it. I ran it when I bought it but only for a short while....the tank was shot and it took me forever to find a NEW one with a slight blemish....so glad it was out there. The old tank was a leaker and was damaged by someone trying to fix it and they didn't know they were doing. From what I have learned there are only a about 1000 or so imported and they started at serial 100. This is number 112 so a truly rare find. 1975 Yamaha 250 Enduro Stored Since 1980 Selling my father's 250 Enduro that he purchased new in 1976 and rode until 1980. After that it was put in his basement and stored, a "time capsule" bike by all means. Everything is original and in good condition. There is one dent in the tank, which is pictured, which came from a pop fly over the backstop at a ball game. The seat is in good condition, there is some flaking paint and rust on the fender and the chrome wheels from storage. The motor has good compression but has not been serviced or started since it was taken from storage in October. Bike comes with a clear transferable PA title. Let me start off first by saying I DO NOT have a title, Ebay doesn't have an option for that. I will supply a bill of sale. The frame and engine #'s are the same making this a numbers matching bike. This little Yamaha is in very nice condition, I was told that the top end has been rebuilt with very few miles, by looking at it I would have to agree. It runs great, all of the electrical functions work...even the electric start. It will need a new battery. Comes with tool kit and I have a brand new points cover coming that will come with the bike. Tires and brakes are fine, chrome is also in above average condition. Front fender has some bumps and bruises, the rest of the paint is pretty good for a 50 year old bike. Mon, 10 Apr 2023Traction control and updated instruments expected The California Air Resources Board has issued an executive order for what we expect to be an updated Kawasaki Z650RS for the 2024 model year. The update is expected to be relatively minor, adding traction control to the Z650RS. The update would bring the retro RS model in line with the more modern-styled Z650 and the Ninja 650, both of which were updated with traction control for 2023, as well as the Versys 650 which received traction control in 2022.
