Kawasaki Electric description
An unique bike.
The automotive industry is a bit chaotic, concerned electric vehicles.
A flood of developments and constructions are advertising oneself. This is about a motorcycle, an electric bike. This makes it difficult for interested observers, to form an opinion. What could be the motives for someone, to purchase such a vehicle ? The inventor and constructor Andreas Goeschel, an ingenious Saxon , has his home in Mecklenburg (in the former GDR) since about forty years.
He had his very special reason:
Everybody is to comprehend this for himself. The beginning was a fascination which came from the economy of a certain craft. At that time it was the “Royal Enfield Diesel”. A motorcycle, that could be driven for 100 km on the road with a consumption of no more than 1.5 Litre of diesel-fuel. Goeschel took a fly to New Delhi, India, in 2001 and bought one of these great machines. Then he drove the nearly twelve thousand km back home to Germany with virtually no problems. He even wrote a book about this adventure, it’s second edition sold out. This journey was not without consequences for the inventor, even if it’s no use to speculate about cause and effect. But all things are connected somehow, marvellous and wondrous. The rather lousy driving performance of this bike (the Enfield) gave the inventor cause to think about other, more advanced possibilities. And this went not only in theory. Goeschel decided to use an intelligent engine to build a modern diesel-bike. Only the SMART -engine came in consideration. This project worked out perfectly. It has to be called just like this ! After about two years, a rather short period of construction, the bike became street legal and he started using it almost every day. Several ten thousands of km have been driven in the last years. Outstanding road performance, for example three to three point five litre fuel for 100 km and absolute reliability are qualities of this bike. His technical reflections went further (at present he is converting a Porsche Boxster into an EV. Three years ago the guy with the golden hands and the brain of a tech-genius bought two identical Japanese motorbikes. These were absolutely reliable. Every technical interested man knows about predetermined breaking points and the kind of production that comes along with it. The material attrition has been manipulated for economic reasons. It is safe to assume that this ineffable practice together with fashion is one of the death-sins of mankind ! Fashion replaces material attrition with non-material.
Usable items are being made to trash. Goeschel is an unforgiving enemy of such madness . These bikes served as basis to construct a very compact, light and quick motorbike, which runs over 100 street-km with one charge.
The energy-costs here in Germany (2 ˆ), the rapid acceleration and the nearly soundlessness are only one side of the medal. The timeless, striking design in most beautiful kind of a racing motorbike enhance the appearance significantly. Beside the common big motorbikes of today his Electric-Kawasaki looks like a karateka alongside a sumo wrestler. This technical marvel outclasses in combination with its functionality every Harley or Goldwing. That is in urban traffic at short distances. The uncomplicated handling makes this even better. This motorbike is a blockbuster for every techie,
an eye-catcher at every crossing.
Recuperation was a must for Goeschel. In addition this bike with its aura is hard to beat if You look for something to brag with, but subtle, to downplay something so to speak. You’ll have a fine fun at parking places an in city traffic. There are a lot of opportunities to grant Your entourage to be flabbergasted. Only experts are able to understand this very good example for innovation from private hands. Only these people see the activities of Goeschel in the proper light and for them he counts to the first league in this country. He is a rare type of technician, not to find in industry any more. The big companies give us glass beads concerned electric mobility. Goeschel has cut a little diamond. His Electrical-Kawasaki. An orange flash.
This is a privat auction and no return will be offered, so feel free to ask questions and even to come and test and see the bike physically. All descriptions are made to the best of one's knowledge and belief. All photos show right the item which is subject of the auction. The buyer will pay all the taxes and customs of his country, if required. Shipping worldwide for free. |

Rossi, Pedrosa Fastest In Second Sepang MotoGP Test
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the second MotoGP test at the Sepang track in Malaysia. Both clocked identical times of 1:59.999 to become the only riders to dip under the two minute mark the entire test. The hot and humid conditions in Sepang meant times wouldn’t be faster than they were in the first test here only a few weeks prior, and indeed, Rossi and Pedrosa’s time is 0.466 second slower than the fastest lap Marc Marquez set at the last test.
Teaser: 2012 Japanese Literbike Shootout – Video
Thu, 29 Mar 2012The last time we assembled the superbike offerings from the Big Four Japanese manufacturers to determine the alpha male model was 2009. The CBR won that confrontation, but a lot’s changed since then. For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.
BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
