Kawasaki Concours 14 description

2012 Kawasaki Concours. I'm the 3rd owner.

This bike is the Cadillac of sport-touring bikes. Smooth and comfortable. I bought it for a trip which quickly fell apart, and for my daily riding it's way more than I would ever possibly need.

The bike comes with ABS, TCS, and heated grips from the factory. Comes with the main key, the main fob, and a secondary fob that also has a bag key.

The bike has 18,6xx miles subject to change as I ride it.

New front Pilot Road 4 tire this season. Good Pilot Road 3 rear last season. New EBC brakes this year.

Extras include a Delkevic exhaust which sounds beautiful (the original exhaust comes with the bike) a V-Stream windshield taller than stock (the stock is not available but is readily findable in the aftermarket), factory bar risers on the handlebars and large trunk that can even fit a laptop bag or a full-face helmet. The previous owner is 6'5" and set it up for himself. I'm 5'9" and still don't feel the big is too big for me.

If you put the bike in eco mode and don't get really aggressive with stops and starts, you can get 43-45 mpg even at 70 mph... if you hammer on it and ride it like the ZX-14 it is based on, you will get 35-36 mpg.

The bike was maintained according to schedule. All oil changes were accompanied by final drive fluid changes.

The only and only one bad is that the bike was tipped/dropped on the right side leaving some cosmetic damage on the right trunk lid, plastics, and mirror. None of this is terrible. I've taken pictures of its showing the extent of the damage -- nothing is broken or cracked - it was SET over. It was not reported or submitted as a claim. I wouldn't hesitate hopping on this bike and riding across the country tomorrow.

Located in the southeastern suburbs of the Twin Cities Minnesota area, and will accommodate fly and rides and shipping services.

Called the Kawasaki Ninja RR Mono or 250SL (depending on the market), the single-cylinder model offers a bit less power and more torque than the parallel-Twin Ninja 250 but weighs 46 pounds lighter. We first saw spy photos of the new mini-Ninja undergoing testing late last year, but now we can see the finished product.

The win comes in Molyneux’s return to the Isle of Man TT after sitting out last year’s competition. By far the most successful Sidecar racer in TT history Molyneux is third overall among riders in any class, behind Joey Dunlop (26) and John McGuinness (18).

WSBK 2013: Magny-Cours Race Report

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

Tom Sykes snapped up a pair of wins at Magny-Cours, setting himself up in good position to capture his first World Superbike Championship at the season finale in Jerez in two weeks. The Kawasaki rider scored his series-leading eight and ninth victories of the season, giving him a commanding 37-point cushion over Eugene Laverty and 38 points ahead of Sylvain Guintoli. Sykes needs only score at least 13 points in total over the final two races at Jerez to secure the championship.
