Kawasaki Bobber description

1980 Kawasaki KZ250D with a very low original 4,307 miles, customized for a one-off look.  Many changes, starting with new tires front and back, clip-ons, new mini chrome speedo, high decibel horn, new throttle housing with ribbed cushioned grips, new vintage-style headlight.  Gas tank is painted with matte black and base coat white.  Graphics applied are the thin red line and the Felix the Cat.  They can be left as is or easily removed if you prefer.  New bobber stitched and pleated solo seat.  Aftermarket exhaust with fluted straight-through baffle.

Carburetor has been gone through, with new parts replaced, as needed.  New sealed battery, new AFAM drive chain, new bobber style rear brake light with tag mount.  Key is located on the front upper right of the bike. It is semi-hidden, but is easily accessed.  It is universal by function, meaning it starts just like a car:  turn and release.  The solenoid function is in the key switch itself.  Saves for a lot of extra wiring or hanging of switch controls.

Please note pic of blinkers.  I did not hang them for the only reason that I don't like the look of blinkers on a bike, but I will install them for the new owner.  The bike has the switch control already in place on the left handlebar.  The mini chrome speedo has very nice dash lights.  Lets you know high/low beam, turn signal on/off, and neutral light.  The original speedo will also go with the sale of the bike.

Really, the bike needed very little with such low miles.  Other than freshening up the carburetor and changing oil and filter, it's as new, considering the low miles.  Bike is very reliable.  Runs all day long, no problems. Would make an excellent commuter and you can show it off at the local hangouts.

Being classified as a vintage motorcycle born in the year 1980, it has some slight signs of wear.  There is a small ding on the tank on top lower left, the size of a pencil point, and the front spokes, some are discolored.

PLEASE VIEW THE VIDEO OF BIKE.

Winning bidder has 30 days to arrange pick-up.  If new owner needs more time, please contact us.  We will easily work something out.  Bike will be stored safely indoors.  IF YOU CANNOT VIEW THIS VIDEO ON YOUR PHONE OR LAPTOP, YOU MAY NEED TO VIEW ON A HOME COMPUTER.
