Kawasaki Adventure description

For sale is my 2012 Versys 650, or KLE650, as it's also known. Bike has around 11000 miles but it'll go up slowly since I use it for my short commute to work. Bought the bike in August 2015 at the 6000 mile mark and since then, I've done oil changes every 1000 miles, and even did a brake fluid swap just recently. Here's everything I've added and done to the bike:

- Givi Windscreen (excellent wind protection on the freeway)
- Barkbuster Storm Hanguards
- Handlebar Risers
- Storm Aeropart front beak (gives this Versys a very unique look)
- 2x Auxiliary lights (very bright and I wired them to a button on right side of handlebar)
- EBC XC Series front brake rotors x2 (put these on less than 1000 miles ago, huge improvement!)
- Dunlop D221 front tire with <3000 miles
- Shinko 705 with <3000 miles
- SW-Motech Crash bars
- Touratech Dash GPS mount (you can easily mount an X-Grip on this for your phone)
- D.I.D chain with <1000 miles on it
- D.I.D front sprocket <1000 miles on it
- D.I.D rear sprocket <1000 miles on it
- Givi Pannier mounts
- 2x Givi Trekker 33L Monokey panniers ($680)
- 1x Givi Trekker 46L Monokey top box ($355)

This bike has a very unique look and people are stopping and asking about it all the time. Once, someone even asked if it was a KTM 1190 (probably because of the orange...). The Versys is very quick and is essentially a sport bike you can tour on very comfortably. I can do 8 hours out in the twisties with this, easily.

Its a really great bike and I hope you come check it out!

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

World Superbike racebikes will be required to have fake headlight stickers on their race fairings to more closely resemble their production series counterparts. The new regulation, set to kick in for the 2013 WSBK season, was designed to establish a closer link between the production model and the race-trim superbike. The new rules will also mandate 17-inch aluminum wheels.

Photos Of This Weekend’s Denver Endurocross Track

Fri, 03 Oct 2014

This weekend the EnduroCross championship makes its way to Denver and the National Events Center for the fifth round of the nine-round series. Truckloads of dirt, mountains of rock and piles of logs are coming together to create an EnduroCross course that’s sure to challenge racers and entertain fans.  Excitement will be a mile-high this weekend as the EnduroCross Championship puts three different race winners into an epic battle for valuable points before the halfway point in the series. Beta/GEICO-backed Cody Webb has led since his first round victory in Las Vegas, but KTM’s five-time champion Taddy Blazusiak is hot on his heels after a big win at the last round in Atlanta and at X-Games. And don’t count out Colton Haaker.
