Kawasaki 1500 description

For sale, 2003 Kawasaki Nomad with a brand new Tsukayu Double Boox fairing painted black with extra windhsield ($800), JTD Cycle Series 2 hard lowers with LED lights and locking compartments ($450), Scootworks full tourpak (Super trunk V1) with rear light bar ($550), Saddleman Explorer special seat with backrest ($650 ... comes with stock seat also), Wompus rack ($235), Signal Dyamics headlight blinking modulator ($75) and Vance and Hines twin touring exhaust ($650 ... comes with stock exhaust also) with Chucksters Ultimate Baffles ($125 ... have stock, unpacked baffles also).

The bike is in very good condition and runs great. The tires were new at the beginning of the riding season ($300) and prior to leaving for Sturgis, the steering column bearings were completely replaced and front fork oil changed (~$400).

The reason for selling is simple, we rented a trike for a couple days and my wife loved it so I'm selling this bike to buy her a trike. I already own a solo bike and won't need a full bagger anymore.
Currently, there is 19,500 miles on the bike but it will change. We plan on a few more riding excursions unless it sells first.

Unlike its Harley counterparts, you won't need to carry any tools or worry about overheating when riding this bike :-)

Because of the spammers and fakes on social media, I will only answer those that include their phone number.
Thanks

Yes, I will consider trading this + $$$ towards a trike...

Geeky snippets ahead of the Phillip Island MotoGP

Tue, 13 Oct 2009

Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.

2014 Kawasaki KSR Pro Announced

Fri, 01 Nov 2013

When Honda introduced the Grom earlier this year, it kicked off a renewed interest in the monkey bike, small-sized motorcycles with a high fun-factor that made up for its single-digit horsepower output. Suzuki is on board, announcing a new electric mini-bike concept called the Extrigger. But we’d be remiss if we forget that Kawasaki has been producing a mini-bike of its own for the Asian market.
