KTM SX description

This 2009 KTM SX50 junior is a great running, super reliable little machine. the maintenance has been done religiously, oil changed after every moto. air filter always clean. it has a full pro circuit pipe, upgraded carb and a $1300 PR2 suspension upgrade with brand new seals. clutch is fairly new. tires are Dunlop mx51s in great shape. motor is stock, keeping it very reliable. top end was professionally done with OEM parts with approximately 5 hours on it. 2009 is the last year KTM made the junior. it is a great transition bike between the SXmini50 and the SXsenior50. my son just outgrew it and moved up to the senior. average age for this size bike is 5-7. serious inquires can call me at 805 402-8444 with questions.

Movie: The John Penton Story

Wed, 06 Mar 2013

John Penton was one of the most influential figures in the development of off-road motorcycle racing in America during the 1960s and ’70s. His life’s story is triumphant and tragic. When his attempts to convince Husqvarna to produce a smaller, lighter motorcycle fell on deaf ears, Penton created his own design and commissioned KTM, a small moped and bicycle maker in Austria, to build it. The motorcycle was an instant success in off-road competition and led KTM to expand its efforts in the motorcycle realm, initially in conjunction with Penton and ultimately on its own.

Derek “Nobby” Clark Added As Inductee to AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame

Thu, 16 Aug 2012

The somewhat drawn-out drama surrounding the mis-nomination of Derek “Nobby” Clark to the 2012 class of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame has finally come to an end with the AMA announcing today that in a supplemental vote Clark was elected to the Hall of Fame. The supplemental vote for Mr. Clark was implemented by the AMHF, which overseas the Hall of Fame, in response to procedural errors that invalidated Mr.
