KTM SX description

Brand New KTM 50 SXS For 2016, the KTM 50 SXS builds on the already potent 50 SX model, creating a 50 cc race bike fit for the highest level of amateur motocross racing and the next generation of champions. The 2016 50 SXS comes complete with a SXS fully-adjustable racing shock with reservoir, FMF pipe and silencer, SXS billet clutch cover, and a SXS chain adjustment block and guide. Additionally, the jetting has been tuned in the Dell’Orto PHBG 19 BS carburetor; sintered brake pads replace the stock units; and new clutch springs give better performance to the centrifugal automatic clutch. Power is transferred to the rear wheel via a smaller 38-tooth Renthal sprocket. A special SXS graphic kit is also new for 2016. Bromley Motorcycle Sales 635 Somers Ave Trevose Pa 19053 215-357-1534

2022 KTM RC390 Review - First Ride

Mon, 04 Apr 2022

A more focused lightweight sportbike Credit: Photos by Casey Davis Since its debut in 2015, the KTM RC390 has represented the pointed end of the lightweight sportbike spectrum. Aggressive in its styling, and dedicated to its Ready to Race brand promise, the RC390 has always been pitched as a fun little track bike that also happens to be street-legal with enough comfort for daily duty. This has caused the little KTM to be lauded with praise at the track in our previous comparisons, but at the same time, that attitude has caused the Kawasaki Ninja 400 to come out on top as a better well-rounded motorcycle in our last two comparisons.

The Differences Between KTM’s Duke Engines

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

KTM set a new company record with 107,142 motorcycles sold in 2012, with a lot of credit given to strong demand for its small-displacement naked Duke line. The 125 Duke and 200 Duke have been popular sellers in Europe while Indian consumers accounted for more than 8000 units of the 200 Duke alone. KTM will try to maintain its momentum with its new 390 Duke, not to mention the 690 Duke R and the upcoming 1290 Super Duke R which was unveiled in prototype form at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan as the eventual successor to the 990 Super Duke.
