2013 KTM Sx 250, 2013 KTM 250 SX Original owner (bike bought new 12/31/12), < 12 hrs total running time. All modifications below added after initial break in. FMF Fatty Pipe and Power Core II Silencer EK O-ring chain (installed before break in) Michelin MS3 Starcross tires (soft to intermediate terrain) Fork speed bleeders installed Race Tech Gold Valve Suspension (revalved by Ronnie Monk , 30 second affair. Air filter cleaned and tranny fluid changed after each ride. Fuel & oil used: Sunoco 110/Motul 800 2T e with bike include: o Owners Manual o KTM Basic tool kit o KTM tuning kit (includes pilot and main jets, needles and power valve springs) Needle clip (2) Carb float bowl screws (4) o Front and rear tubes (1 each) o Seat and side panel bolts (4) o Twin Air filters (2) o Filter cage (1) o KTM aluminum anodized folding sag scale o KTM fork tool (fork cap/cartridge rod holder) o Stock KTM pipe and silencer o Header pipe O-rings (4) o Pipe/Silencer junction rubber seal (1) o Stock Dunlop Geomax 51 front and rear tires, plenty of wear left Comments: bike is fast & has been properly jetted for pipe & silencer install, hydraulic clutch will spoil you. KTM to Enter Supersport Category

As the off-road market continues its tailspin, Austria’s KTM is hedging its bets with a continued surge in its street motorcycle category. Its on-road push began with the liter-size V-Twins in the Adventure, Super Duke, and Supermoto bikes, followed most recently by the RC8 superbike. Now we hear word that the Austrian manufacturer will soon enter the supersport class.

Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak was snapped, KTM scored its second series win and Cole Seely impressed as an injury replacement for Trey Canard as the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship landed in Atlanta, Ga. Racing for the American Honda Muscle Milk team, Seely nabbed the holeshot and led the opening seven laps before finally being overtaken by Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey. Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto had a poor start by his standards, finishing the first lap in sixth place.

KTM set a new company record with 107,142 motorcycles sold in 2012, with a lot of credit given to strong demand for its small-displacement naked Duke line. The 125 Duke and 200 Duke have been popular sellers in Europe while Indian consumers accounted for more than 8000 units of the 200 Duke alone. KTM will try to maintain its momentum with its new 390 Duke, not to mention the 690 Duke R and the upcoming 1290 Super Duke R which was unveiled in prototype form at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan as the eventual successor to the 990 Super Duke.
