    Up for sale is my 1972 Yamaha at1 125. Is in very good condition always stored inside.fresh wesco piston and rings,new battery,fresh oil change,new 25ml carburetor,new turbo air cleaner . Only two hours on rebuild and then bike stopped getting a spark at the sparkplug, so it is currently not running,probably an issue with voltage regulator.

    Up for grabs is a beautifully restored 1972 Yamaha DT2-MX, The 1972 DT2MX was the first Yamaha model designed strictly for the motocross market. The DT2MX came standard with reed valve induction, a CDI ignition with button-mag and Yamaha’s Autolube system, which automatically mixed oil with the gas. Most serious racers removed the Autolube system and ran pre-mix as a safety measure.

      For sale is my 1972 Yamaha DS7 with an RD350 engine.   This project has been a labor of love for several years.  I am 57 years old and an enthusiast and I love building as much as riding.  It's simply time for a new project.  All work, including paint, was completed by me with the exception of crank bearings and bore/hone.  As a qualifier, I won MotoGP tickets in a Yamaha USA contest with this bike and First Place Yamaha Restoration for another project at the largest west coast two-stroke event in 2011.  The story:  Purchased as a runner in rough condition, I began the project with a complete disassemble and cleaning.  Then: -          Sandblasted and painted frame and brackets with PJ1 gloss black -          Replaced forks with “Forks by Frank” units – they are perfect. -          Replaced swing arm bushings with brass units. -          Progressive Suspension rear shocks -          “Gunfighter” seat cushion and cover from Nebraska (no Viet Nam) -          Like new seat pan and hinges -          Light weight and sealed battery -          Wiring harness is 100% original and clean with no cuts or mods.

    up for sale is a 1972 yamaha ds7 250cc this bike is in fair condition with some rust tires hold air.This bike does run ad rides i cleaned out the carbs a few months ago and got it running tail lights/brake light works and the high and low beam head light works it has trouble getting in first gear but other then that she works tank has no rust along with the frame seat is shot.I had a clear title but i cant find it so my plan was to get a bonded title which is 100 dollars from an insurance company and the dmv needs to ID the vin I dont have time for that.They only made this model for 1 year and then they went to the rd250/350/400.Will ship to the lower 48 u.s.states ask for a shipping quote before bidding.You can pick this bike up in Youngsville nc.No title.

    This 72 Cs5 has been in my family since the early 80's. In 2011 the bike was taken down to bare frame and rebuilt all while carefully cleaning each part. The frame, swingarm, and various parts were sand blasted and powdercoated, The paintwork was done by Street dreams customs out of Ocala Fl where dupont chromabase and chromaclear paint was used.

We’ve officially entered into the world of the ridiculous Photos by Francesc Montero and Sebas Romero There’s only so much you can learn about a motorcycle after getting about four laps on a racetrack you haven’t seen in a decade. Factor in the cold conditions, a brand new, race-compound rear tire, and no tire warmers, and you can basically throw away any sort of authoritative impressions about the bike. One of our favorite bikes since its introduction, the 890 Duke R is leaving the KTM lineup to make way for the incoming 990 Duke (and the re-introduced 790 Duke). But before we bid it farewell, we put it up against some of its European contemporaries in a good old fashioned MO shootout.

2023 KTM RC 8C Review

It had been quite a while since I last rode a multi-cylinder KTM on a racetrack – all the way back to 2011 and the Red Bull-sponsored factory RC8R 1200cc V-twin on which Martin Bauer was victorious in that year’s IDM German Superbike Championship, with teammate Stefan Nebel third. That was a key moment in the Austrian dirtbike specialist’s climb up the ladder to equal status with the likes of Honda and Ducati in the road racing pantheon, and showed that orange was a color to be reckoned with on-road as well as off it. KTM invited Alan Cathcart to join 30 customers to pick up their new RC 8Cs in Valencia and hobnob with the likes of Jeremy McWilliams, Mika Kallio, and Brad Binder.
