Demo the new 1190 Adventure Model at KTM’s 2013 Adventure Rider Rally

Everyone’s excited to see, hear, sit on and, especially, ride KTM’s forthcoming 1190 Adventure and 1190 R Adventure models. Those attending KTM’s 2013 Adventure Rider Rally in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, will get a chance to do all four! The KTM Adventure Rider Rally is designed for riders of all skill levels from around the world and open to all brands of street-legal motorcycles.

The 10th Annual KTM Adventure Rider Rally took place September 13-15 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Hundreds showed up to the Steamboat Grand Hotel to enjoy a weekend of KTM activities, including appearances from KTM factory riders  Andrew Short, Mike Brown, Kurt Caselli and Mike Lafferty, plus technical and riding seminars, self-guided rides, demo rides, games, camaraderie and more. Enduro Legend Juha Salminen Announces Retirement

Finnish racer Juha Salminen announced his retirement from racing at the end of the 2013 World Enduro Championship, capping off a career that included 13 world championships and a record 96 World Enduro Championship wins. Only the great Giacomo Agostini holds more individual motorcycle racing world titles than Salminen with 15. “Enduro as a sport has given me a lot, but now it is time to move on to new challenges.
