New KTM 1290 Super Adventure Gets Active Cruise Control

The Austrians are testing a prototype of an upgraded large "nomad", which will receive an unprecedented electronic system. The design of the front of the modern Super Adventure a la “giant mutant insect” still raises questions from the faithful fans, and the closer it gets to the presentation of the new features the more concerns there will be - a huge slot will appear below between the headlights. This is not a design whim, but a technological necessity.

Many think Carbon Fibre chassis are relatively new to motorcycle racing but I can lay claim to having been there and done that almost thirty years ago. I first rode a Carbon/Kevlar 250cc Armstrong in 1983 before going on to grab four British titles and pretty much every national lap record over the next three years. KTM Announces RC390 Cup Racing Series, Production Model to Follow

KTM pulled the wraps off a new racebike to be used in a new spec racing series in 2014. The RC390 Cup will be used in the 2014 ADAC Junior Cup Powered by KTM, with a production version going to market in 2014. The RC390 Cup racebike was revealed during the MotoGP round at Germany’s Sachsenring circuit.
