Day 6 Dakar 2014: Duclos Wins Stage, Palante Found Dead

In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.

Tue, 21 Jan 2014KTM announced a 15.6% increase in motorcycles sales in 2013, thanks in large part to expansion into Asian and South American markets. The Austrian manufacturer sold 123,859 motorcycles in 2013, compared to the previous annual sales record of 107,142 motorcycles set in 2012. Increased sales translated to revenues of €716.3 million (US$971.0 million) in 2013, a new record shattering the previous record of €612.0 million set the previous year by 17.0%.
