2014 KTM 150 SX, 2014 KTM 150 SXTHE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.With a stronger engine, the 2014 150 SX keeps even closer on the heels of the 250cc 4-strokes, not the least thanks to its unbeatably low weight.FeaturesHandlebarAll SX models are equipped with the extremely sturdy, tapered Renthal Fatbar 827 handlebar that features an offset specially designed to meet the demands of motocross. In accordance with the proven KTM standard, the handlebar can be fixed in a choice of four positions. A large Renthal crash pad, still in classy black/silver for 2014, provides the rider with effective impact protection.SeatThe ergonomically perfectly designed seat is equipped with an improved foam core for the 2014 model year, ensuring both greater comfort and higher stability.Fuel tankAll models in the SX range are equipped with a new, lightweight, polyethylene, 7.5 litre fuel tank, which has been revised in the area of the filler cap internal thread and can be closed even more easily and reliably with a new filler cap. The fuel pump system used on the four-stroke motocross models is the same as that used on the four-stroke enduro models, thereby allowing optional installation of larger tanks from the PowerParts range or from the enduro models.GraphicsA new, refined graphic design with clear lines underlines the high demands made of a modern, state-of-the-art offroad motorcycle.BodyworkKTM engineers have focussed on designing the bodywork ergonomically and functionally in such a way that the whole motorcycle is in perfect harmony with the rider down to the very last detail. The front fender is a perfect example of how moulded plastic components can gain maximum stability with a well thought out structure and well-conceived attachment.

KTM 790 Duke Returns for 2022
Tue, 15 Mar 2022The Scalpel is back In a surprising move, KTM is bringing back the 790 Duke, returning “the Scalpel” to its lineup in select markets after a very brief absence. The 790 Duke was introduced in 2017, but it was quickly supplanted by the 890 Duke R in 2019 as KTM’s top middleweight naked. The 790 was dropped completely for the 2021 model year, replaced by a new non-R 890 Duke.
Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.
Wed, 08 Dec 2010Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old. Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
KTM 200 Duke, 350 Duke Announced … But Only for Emerging Markets
Wed, 13 Jul 2011According to reports out of India, KTM Chief Executive Officer Stefan Pierer has announced the Austrian manufacturer will produce 200cc and 350cc versions of its youth-oriented 125 Duke. Unfortunately for us in North America, the two new Dukes will appear destined for emerging markets such as India, Brazil, Thailand and Malaysia. Speaking with the Indian press, Pierer says KTM is partnering with Bajaj Auto to develop the 200 Duke in 2012 with the 350 version to follow in 2013.
